10×36 Shed Row Barn with 8 Lean-To – Danielson, CT

Project Description:

This is a 10’x36′ shed row horse barn with 8′ lean-to. This Danielson, CT horse barn with lean-to was built with white pine board and batten siding. It has 3 pitch rafters and architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Shakewood color) shingles. The windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 4’x7′ dutch doors and double service doors and service door and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures.

Benefits:
This shed row horse barn has (2) 10’x11′ stalls and a 10’x4′ tack room and a 10’x18′ storage room and a 8’x26′ open lean-to. Part of the lean-to is enclosed to form the storage room. The stalls are lined with 4′ high oak kick boards and have a dutch door in the front and a sliding window in the rear. The tack room has floor and a service door in the front and a sliding window in the rear. The storage room has floor and a service door in the side underneath the lean-to and a sliding window in the rear and double service doors on the side. On each end of the barn, up near the peak, are gable vents. The lean-to offers shelter from the hot sun or rain and snow.
