34×24 High Country with 8 Lean-To – Culpeper, VA

Project Description:

This is a 34’x24’ modular horse barn in the high country style with 10’ lean-to. This Culpepper, VA horse barn was built with white pine board & batten siding. The roof has 8 pitch rafters and architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Hickory color) shingles. The window is a sliding wood barn sash window manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 5’x9’ roll doors and 5’x9’ roll doors with windows and 4’x7’ dutch doors with window and service door and sliding double loft doors and sliding double loft doors with windows and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures. On the roof is a B-27 Boston Series cupola with horse weather vane manufactured by Creative Cupolas.

Benefits:

This modular horse barn has (3) 12’x12’ stalls and a 12’x12’ tack room and a 10’x24’ center aisle. It has a full loft accessed via stairs in the tack room. One end of the loft has sliding double loft doors with windows and the other end has sliding double loft doors. On each end, up near the peak, is a gable vent. The stalls are lined with 4’ high oak kick boards and have a sliding stall door into the center aisle and a dutch door with window to the outside. The tack room has floor and a sliding window and a service door into the center aisle. The center aisle has double sliding doors with windows in the front and double sliding doors in the rear.
