36×44 High Country with 10 Lean-To – Oxford, PA

Project Description:

This is a 36’x44’ modular horse barn in the high country style with a 10’ lean-to. This Oxford, PA high country horse barn was built with white pine board & batten siding stained with custom stain. The corner trim and window trim and door trim and crossbucks are stained with custom stain. The roof has 8 pitch rafters and architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Hunter Green color) shingles. The 8’x8′ SRP garage doors were manufactured by General Door Corporation and installed by Monterey Door Shop. The windows are insulated double-hung Silverline Series windows manufactured by Ply Gem and provided by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The insulated service door with window was manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 8’x8′ roll door and 4’x9’ roll doors with windows and 4’x7’ dutch doors with window and and loft door and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures.

Benefits:

This modular horse barn has (2) 14’x12’ stalls and a 14’x16’ tack room and a 14’x10’ wash stall and a 14’x8’ feed room and a 14’x10′ carriage room and a 22’x20′ open area and a 8’x24’ center aisle. It has a full loft accessed via stairs in the tack room. One end of the loft has a swinging loft door and the other end has a insulated double-hung window. On each end, up near the peak, is a gable vent. The stalls are lined with 4’ high oak kick boards and have a sliding stall door into the center aisle and a dutch door to the outside. The tack room has a service door into the center aisle and a service door out the back and a service door to enclose the stairs. The wash stall has P.T. SYP boards on the walls and is open to the center aisle. The feed room has a service door into the center aisle and a double-hung window. The carriage room has a service door into the open area and a double-hung window and a overhead door. The open storage area has a double-hung window and a service door and (2) overhead doors. The center aisle has double sliding doors with windows at one end.
