36×48 High Country with (2) 10 Lean-To — Sandwich, MA


Project Description:

This is a 36’x48’ modular horse barn in the high country style with (2) 10’ lean-tos. This Sandwich, MA horse barn was built with white pine board & batten siding painted with white paint manufactured by Haley Paint Company. The corner trim and window trim and door trim and crossbucks are painted black. The roof has 8 pitch rafters and an insulated 28 gauge metal roof (Black color) manufactured by A.B. Martin. The windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 6’x9’ roll doors with windows and 4’x7’ dutch doors with window and service doors and sliding double loft doors with windows and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures. On the roof is a B-48 Boston Series cupola with horse weather vane manufactured by Creative Cupolas. The foundation is a concrete pad installed by the customer. 

Benefits: 

This modular horse barn has (6) 12’x12’ stalls and a 12’x12’ tack room and a 12’x12’ feed room and a 12’x48’ center aisle. It has a full loft accessed via stairs in the feed room. One end of the loft has sliding double loft doors with windows and the other end has a sliding window and over each stall is a hay hole with a hinged cover. On each end, up near the peak, is a gable vent. The stalls are lined with 4’ high oak kick boards and chew guards and have a sliding stall door into the center aisle and a dutch door with window to the outside. The tack room has a sliding window and a service door into the center aisle. The feed room has a sliding window and a service door into the center aisle. The center aisle has double sliding doors with windows at each end. On either side of the sliding doors are extra sliding windows.
