Double-Wide Garage – Ancramdale, NY

Project Description:

This is a 24’x24′ double-wide garage with 8′ high walls. This Ancramdale, NY garage was built with white pine board and batten siding stained with mushroom stain manufactured by Haley Paint Company. It has 8 pitch rafters and an architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Weathered Wood color) shingles. The windows are insulated double-hung Silverline Series windows with screens manufactured by Ply Gem and provided by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The non-insulated 9’x7′ Homestead Series overhead garage doors with windows were manufactured by General Door Corporation and installed by Monterey Door Shop. The service door with the window was manufactured by J&N Structures. On the roof is a B-24 Series cupola manufactured by Creative Cupolas. The foundation is a concrete pad installed by the customer.

Benefits:

This double-wide garage has an 8′ high ceiling and a full loft. It has (2) garage bays, each with a non-insulated overhead garage door with windows in the front. Along one side are (2) insulated double-hung windows and along the other side is a service door with a window and (2) insulated double-hung windows. The loft is accessed via stairs. At each end of the loft are (2) insulated double-hung windows forming a twin window.
