Double-wide Garage – Stowe, VT

Project Description:

This is a 24’x34′ double-wide garage with 11′ high walls. This Stowe, VT garage was built with white pine board and batten siding painted with black paint manufactured by Haley Paint Company. It has 10 pitch rafters and a standing seam metal roof manufactured by Iron Horse Roofing. The windows are insulated double-hung Silverline Series windows with screens manufactured by Ply Gem and provided by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The insulated 9’x8′ Safe-Way Ambient Series overhead garage doors with windows were manufactured by General Door Corporation and installed by Monterey Door Shop. The 4’x7′ dutch doors with window and double service doors with transom window and service doors with transom windows are manufactured by J&N Structures. On the roof is a B-48 Boston Series cupola manufactured by Creative Cupolas. The foundation is a concrete pad with 6″ high concrete curbs installed by the customer.

Benefits:

This double-wide garage has a 9′ high ceiling and a full loft. It has (3) garage bays, each with an insulated overhead garage door with windows in the front. The one garage bay is partitioned off for future 12’x10′ stalls and future 12’x4′ storage rooms. The stalls have a sliding 4’x7′ stall door in the front of the stall and a dutch door with a window to the outside in the rear of the stalls. The storage room has a service door in the front and on the side is an insulated double-hung window and a service door with a transom window to the outside. In the rear of the garage are double service doors with a transom window and a service door with a transom window. Along one side are double service doors with a transom window and an insulated double-hung window and the other side has dutch doors with a window for the future stalls. The loft has 20″ high knee walls and is accessed via stairs. Each side of the loft has a 16′ long shed dormer. Each shed dormer has (3) insulated double-hung windows. Each end of the loft has (2) insulated double-hung windows forming a twin window.
