Double Wide Trailside Barn – Dorothy, NJ


Project Description:

This is a 22’x40’ double-wide modular horse barn in the trailside style . This Dorothy, NJ horse barn was built with white pine board & batten siding. The roof has 3 pitch rafters and architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Charcoal color) shingles. The windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 6’x7’ roll doors and 4’x7’ dutch doors and 48″x80″ dutch doors with window and service door and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures.

Benefits:

This double-wide trailside horse barn has (3) 10’x12’ stalls and a 10’x8’ tack room and a 12’x40’ aisle. The stalls are lined with 4’ high oak kick boards and have a dutch door into the aisle and a dutch door with window to the outside. The one stall has both dutch doors reversed for miniature horses. The tack room has floor and a sliding window and a service door into the center aisle. The aisle has a sliding door at each end and (4) sliding windows along the side. On each end of the barn, up near the peak, is a gable vent.
