Kennebec with (2) 8 Lean-To – Pittsfield, MA


Project Description:

This is a 32’x24′ modular barn with (2) 10′ lean-tos in the kennebec style. This Pittsfield, MA kennebec barn was built with white pine board and batten siding stained with custom stain by Cabot Stain. It has 6 pitch rafters and architectural shingle roof with BP Everest 42 (Twilight Grey color) shingles. The small windows are sliding wood barn sash windows and the larger windows are Andersen Silverline double-hung windows by Bird-In-Hand Windows. The 6’x9′ roll doors and 4’x7′ dutch doors with window are built by J&N Structures. Up top is a B-37 Series cupola manufactured by Creative Cupolas. The foundation is a concrete pad installed by the customer. 

Benefits: 

This modular barn has (2) 10’x8′ stalls, a 10’x10′ stall, a 10’x8′ tack room, a 10’x8′ storage room and a 10’x6′ chicken coop. It has a full loft accessed from the outside via stairs and a deck. One end of the loft has a insulated service door with window going out onto the deck and the other end has a insulated double-hung window. The stalls have a sliding 4’x7′ stall door and a dutch door with window. The tack room has a insulated service door and a insulated double-hung window. The storage room has (2) wood service doors with window and a sliding window. The chicken coop has floor and (2) sliding windows and a wood service door and a small chicken door with a ramp.
