High Country Style Barn – Killingworth, CT


Project Description:

This is a 30’x36′ modular barn in the high country style. This Killingworth, CT high country barn was built with white pine board and batten siding. It has 8 pitch rafters and architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HD (Hickory color) shingles. The windows are sliding wood barn sash windows made by Bird-In-Hand Windows. The 5’x9′ roll doors with windows and the 4’x7′ dutch doors with windows are built by J&N Structures. The gable vents are also made by J&N Structures.

Benefits:

This modular barn has (5) 10’x12′ stalls and a 10’x12′ tack room. The stalls have a sliding 4’x7′ stall door and a dutch door with window to the outside. The tack room has floor and a service door and a window. A full loft is accessed via stairs in the tack room. One end of the loft has a loft door with window and the other end has a window. In the middle of the loft is a 24″x24″ hay hole with a hinged cover.
