Lean-To Barn – North Pomfret, VT

Project Description:

This is a 24’x24′ double-wide garage with 10′ high walls and a 10′ enclosed lean-to. This North Pomfret, VT garage was built with white pine board and batten siding stained with smoke stain manufactured by Haley Paint Company. It has 8 pitch rafters and insulated black metal roof manufactured by A.B.Martin Roofing Supply. The windows are insulated double-hung Andersen 100 Series windows with screens provided by Bird-In-Hand Windows. The insulated service door with window is manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows. The insulated 9’x8′ Safeway Series garage doors with windows are manufactured by General Door Corporation. The gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures. On the roof is a B-37 Series cupola manufactured by Creative Cupolas. The weather vane was provided by the customer. The foundation is a concrete pad installed by the customer.

Benefits:

This double-wide garage has 10′ high ceiling with a full loft. It has (2) insulated garage doors with windows in the front and an insulated double-hung window on the one side and a enclosed lean-to on the other side. The enclosed lean-to is open into the garage. The enclosed lean-to has an insulated garage door with windows in the front and an insulated service door with window and an insulated double-hung window on the side. Above the service door with window is a small dormer. The loft is accessed via stairs. At one end of the loft are twin insulated double-hung windows and at the other end is an insulated double-hung window. At each end of the loft are gable vents.
