Modular Barn – Nottingham, NH


Project Description:

This is a 30’x24′ modular horse barn in the high country style with an 8′ lean-to. This Nottingham, NH high country horse barn was built with white pine board and batten siding painted with black paint manufactured by Haley Paint Company. The door is stained with caramel stain. It has 8 pitch rafters and an architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Charcoal color) shingles. The windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 5’x9′ roll doors and 4’x7′ dutch doors with window and service door and loft door and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures.

Benefits:

This modular horse barn has (3) 10’x12′ stalls and a 10’x12′ tack room and a 10’x24′ center aisle. It has a full loft accessed via stairs in the tack room. One end of the loft has a swinging loft door and the other end has a sliding window. On each end of the loft, up near the peak, is a gable vent. The stalls are lined with 4′ high oak kick boards and have a sliding 4’x7′ stall door into the center aisle. Two stalls have a dutch door with a window to the outside and the other stall has a sliding window. The tack room has a floor and a sliding window and a service door into the center aisle. The aisle has double sliding doors at each end.
