Lean-to – Traverse City, MI


Project Description:

This 36’x48’ barn with a 12’ lean-to was erected in Traverse City, MI in the High Country style. The barn was clad with LP Smartside LAP Siding and painted red with Haley Paint. Window and door trim along with shutters were painted white with Haley paint. The 8 pitch roof was shingled with GAF Charcoal shingles and topped off with a 37” cupola and copper horse weathervane manufactured by Creative Cupolas. The custom stairs were made by Lezzer Lumber. The exterior fiberglass service door and 7D vinyl windows were provided by Keystone Door Solutions. The wooden doors were proudly made by Appalachian Woodcrafts.

Benefits:

This beautiful barn is very spacious and functional to meet your needs. There are (5) 12’x12’ stalls, (1) 12’ x 12’ washroom, (1) 12’ x 12’ tack room with floor, and (1) 12’ x 12’ feed room with a floor in this barn. The L shaped custom made stairs are housed in the tack room providing access to a spacious loft above the center aisle, feed room, tack room, and wash room. The loft has a 48”x80” roll door on either end. A 12’ wide dormer with 6’ porch is over the exterior service door entry to the tack room. There are two 6’ wide dormers above the 12’ x 48’ leant-to.
