Modular Barn – Amelia Court House, VA


Project Description:

This is a 32’x40′ modular barn with 10′ high walls in the high country style with (2) 10′ lean-tos. This Amelia Court House, VA high country barn was built with white pine board and batten siding. It has 8 pitch rafters on the barn and 3 pitch rafters on the lean-tos and an architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HD (Hunter Green color) shingles. The windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 6’x10′ roll doors and 4’x7′ dutch doors with window and service door and loft door and chicken doors and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures. On the roof is a B-37 Series cupola with pine tree weathervane manufactured by Creative Cupolas.

Benefits:

This modular barn has (7) 10’x10′ stalls and a 10’x10′ tack room and a 12’x40′ center aisle. It has a full loft accessed via stairs in the tack room. One end of the loft has a swinging loft door and a swinging window on either side of the loft door and the other end has a sliding window. On each end, up near the peak, is a gable vent. The stalls have a sliding 4’x7′ stall door into the center aisle. Two of the stalls have mesh grills and no kickboards and a dutch door with a window and a chicken door to the outside. One stall is lined with 4′ high oak kick boards and has a dutch door with a window to the outside. Three of the stalls have a floor and no kickboards and a sliding window. Another stall has a sliding window and white glass boards on the walls. The tack room has a floor and a sliding window and a service door into the center aisle. The aisle has double sliding doors at each end.
