Modular Barn – Canton, MA


Project Description:

This is a 42’x66′ modular barn with 8′ lean-to in the monitor style. This Canton, MA monitor barn with lean-to was built with white pine board and batten siding painted with tan paint manufactured by Haley Paint Company. The corner trim and window trim are painted white and the door trim and crossbucks are painted green. It has rafters and insulated (Evergreen Color) metal roof manufactured by A.B. Martin Roofing Supply. The small windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors and the large window is an insulated Andersen Silverline Series double-hung window provided by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 7’x10′ roll doors with windows and 4’x7′ dutch doors with window and service doors with window and double sliding loft doors with window are manufactured by J&N Structures. Up top is a B-37 Series cupola with weather vane and (2) B-27 Series cupolas manufactured by Creative Cupolas. The foundation is a concrete pad installed by the customer.

Benefits:

This modular barn has (8) 14’x12′ stalls and a 14’x12′ tack room and a 14’x12′ wash stall and a 13′-5″x66′ center aisle and a 6’x42′ cross aisle. It has a loft over the center aisle accessed via stairs. Each end of the loft has double sliding loft doors with window and along the sides is a hinged hay drop door for every stall. The stalls are lined with 4′ high oak kick boards and have a sliding 4’x7′ mesh stall door and a dutch door with window to the outside. The tack room has an insulated double-hung window and a service door into the aisle. The wash stall has white glass boards on the walls. The center aisle has double sliding doors with windows at each end. The cross aisle has a service door with window at each end.
