Modular Barn – Manlius, NY

Project Description:

This is a 36’x96′ modular barn with 10′ high walls in the high country style. This Manlius, NY high country barn was built with white pine board and batten siding painted with custom color paint manufactured by Haley Paint Company. The upper gables and dormers and corner trim and fascia and window trim and door-way trim are painted white. The doors are painted black. It has 8 pitch rafters and insulated (Black color) metal roof manufactured by A.B. Martin Roofing Supply. The insulated Andersen Silverline Series double-hung windows and the insulated double-hung triple window with transoms and insulated half-round picture windows were provided by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The insulated service doors are manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The insulated 10’x9′ Lancaster Series overhead garage doors with windows are manufactured by General Doors Corporation. The 6’x10′ roll doors with windows and 8’x9′ sliding door and 8’x8′ sliding door and 4’x7′ dutch doors with window and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures. On the roof is a B-48 Series cupola with a weather vane and (2) B-27 Series cupolas manufactured by Creative Cupolas. The foundation is a concrete pad installed by the customer.

Benefits:

This modular barn has (6) 12’x12′ stalls and a 12’x24′ tack room and a 12’x12′ open area for future wash stall and a 12’x12′ side aisle and a 36’x36′ open garage area and a 12’x60′ center aisle. It has a full loft accessed via stairs. One end of the loft has double sliding loft doors and the other end has an insulated double-hung triple window with transoms. The loft has an 8’x8′ chute allowing light from the large cupola into the first floor and (4) small dormers and (2) large dormers. The small dormers have an insulated double-hung window and one of the large dormers has an insulated half-round picture window. The customer lined and finished the loft for living quarters. The eaves have 24″ overhangs. The stalls are lined with 4′ high oak kick boards and have a sliding 4’x7′ stall door with yoke into the aisle and a dutch door with window to the outside. The tack room has (2) insulated double-hung windows and insulated double service doors with windows to the outside and a wood service door into the aisle. Outside the tack room is a porch with roof. The side aisle has a sliding door to the outside. The open garage area has (3) insulated double-hung windows and (3) dutch doors with window to the outside and (3) 12’x36′ bays, each with an insulated overhead garage door with windows. The aisle has double sliding doors with windows to the outside at one end and a sliding door into the open garage area at the other end.
