Modular Barn – Milton, PA


Project Description:

This is a 32’x24′ modular horse barn in the monitor style. This Milton, PA monitor horse barn was built with white pine board and batten siding painted with gray paint manufactured by Haley Paint Company. The doors are stained with caramel. It has 3 pitch and 6 pitch rafters and an architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Fox Hollow Gray color) shingles. The windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 6’x8′ roll doors and 6’x8′ roll doors with windows and 48″x80″ dutch doors and 48″x80″ dutch doors with window and service doors and loft doors and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures.

Benefits:

This modular barn has (3) 10’x12′ stalls and a 10’x12′ tack room and a 12’x24′ center aisle. It has a loft over the center aisle accessed via pull-down stairs. One end of the loft has a swinging loft door and the other end has a sliding window. Along each side of the loft are (2) sliding windows. On each end, up near the peak, is a gable vent. The stalls are lined with 4′ high oak kick boards and have a sliding 4’x7′ stall door with a yoke into the center aisle. (2) stalls have a dutch door to the outside and the third stall has a dutch door with a window to the outside. The tack room has a floor and an insulated double-hung window and a service door into the center aisle. The aisle has double sliding doors with windows in the front and double sliding doors in the rear.
