Modular Barn – Mineral Point, PA


Project Description:

This 34’ x 37’ modular barn with a 10’ leanto overhang was erected in Mineral Point, PA in the High Country style. The barn has 10’ walls and has LP Smartside siding. The barn is painted green with brown trim using Haley Paints. The 8 pitch roof is shingled with charcoal colored GAF shingles and seamless gutters were installed. Appalachian Woodcrafts crafted the 5’x9’ sliding aisle doors with glass, service doors, and sliding stall doors. The wood sash windows were manufactured by Bird and Hand Windows. This barn provides loft access with L shaped stairs, made by Lezzer Lumber.

Benefits:

This barn has (2) spacious 12’ x 12’ stalls in the front portion, with a 12’ x 25’ enclosed tack room behind the right stall. The tack room has sturdy L shaped stairs that provides access to the loft area, as well as an exterior service door. An open area in the left rear area provides ample space to perform various tasks. The rear open area has a hinged hay hole. One dutch door in the open area provides access to the 10’ lean to overhang area that provides protection from the elements for the animals and equipment . Commercial fans were installed in each stall to provide comfort for the horses.
