Modular Barn – Putnam, CT


Project Description:

This is a 34’x30′ modular barn with (2) 10′ lean-tos in the trailside style. This Putnam, CT trailside barn was built with white pine board and batten siding. It has 4 pitch rafters and an architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HD (Weathered Wood color) shingles. The gutters and downspouts are manufactured by Premier Spouting Design. The small windows are sliding wood barn sash windows and the large windows are single-hung wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows. The 5’x9′ roll doors with windows and 4’x7′ dutch doors with window and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures. On the roof is a B-37 Series cupola manufactured by Creative Cupolas.

Benefits:

This modular barn has (4) 12’x10′ stalls and a 12’x10′ tack room and a 12’x10′ open storage area and a 10’x30′ center aisle. The stalls are lined with 4′ high oak kick boards and have a sliding 4’x7′ stall door with yoke into the aisle. (3) stalls have a dutch door with a window to the outside. (1) stall has a window. The tack room has floor and a window and a service door into the aisle. The aisle has double sliding doors with windows at each end. In the front are extra single-hung windows on either side of the sliding doors.
