Modular Barn – Waccabuc, NY


Project Description:

This is a 36’x22’ modular horse barn in the trailside style. This Waccabuc, NY horse barn was built with white pine board & batten siding painted with white paint manufactured by Haley Paint Company. The door trim and crossbucks are stained with smoke stain. The roof has 3 pitch rafters with 6 pitch rafters over the center and an insulated 28 gauge metal roof (Ash Gray color) manufactured by A.B. Martin. The windows are insulated double-hung Silverline Series windows manufactured by Ply Gem and provided by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The insulated service door was manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 6’x8’ roll doors and 6’x8’ roll doors with windows and 48″x80″ dutch doors with window and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures. On the roof is a B-27 Boston Series cupola with horse weather vane manufactured by Creative Cupolas.

Benefits:

This modular horse barn has (2) 12’x12’ stalls and a 12’x10’ stall and a 12’x10’ tack room and a 12’x22’ center aisle. The stalls are lined with 4’ high oak kick boards and have a sliding stall door into the center aisle and a dutch door with window to the outside. The tack room has floor and an insulated double-hung window and an insulated service door into the center aisle. The center aisle has double sliding doors with windows in the front and double sliding doors in the rear. On either side of the sliding doors are insulated double-hung windows. Over the center aisle, the roof was raised to 6 pitch. On each end of the barn, up near the peak, is a gable vent.
