Modular Barn – Weaverville, NC


Project Description:

This is a 36’x60′ modular barn with (1) 10′ lean-to in the monitor style. This Weaverville, NC monitor barn was built with white pine board and batten siding stained with Driftwood Urethane stain manufactured by Haley Paint Company. The interior of the first floor is also stained with Driftwood Urethane stain. It has rafters and white metal roof manufactured by J.D. Metals. The windows on the first floor are sliding wood barn sash windows and the windows on the second floor are insulated vinyl side sliding windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows. The 6’x10′ roll doors with windows and 4’x7′ Dutch doors with windows and sliding loft door with window are manufactured by Superior Structures. The back gable has a 6’x12’ pressure treated deck with stairs on the exterior.

Benefits:

This modular barn has (8) 12’x12′ stalls, a 12’x14′ tack room, a 12’x10’ wash stall, and a 11′-5″x36′ center aisle. It has a loft over the center aisle accessed via the exterior stairs. One end of the loft has a sliding single loft door to the hay loft and the other end has a fiberglass house door with window leading to an art studio. The stalls are lined with 4′ high oak kick boards and have a sliding 4’x7′ stall door with Yoke and Wood X and a Dutch door with window to the outside. Every stall has a black powder coated swing out hay feeder and swing out bucket holder accessible from the center aisle. The tack room has floor and a window and a service door into the aisle. The aisle has double sliding doors with windows at both ends. On either side of the roll doors are extra windows.
