Monitor with 14 Lean-To – Langhorne, PA


Project Description:

This is a 36’x48’ modular horse barn in the monitor style with 14’ lean-to. This Langhorne, PA horse barn was built with white pine board & batten siding. The roof has 3 pitch and 6 pitch rafters and architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Pewter Gray color) shingles. The windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors and the swinging double shutters are manufactured by J&N Structures. The 6’x9’ roll doors with windows and 6’x7′ roll doors and service doors and outside deck with stairs and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures. The foundation is a concrete pad installed by the customer. 

Benefits: 

This modular horse barn has (3) 12’x12’ stalls and a 12’x6’ tack room and a 12’x24’ open storage area and a 12’x30’ open storage area and a 11’-5″x48’ center aisle. It has a loft over the center aisle accessed via ladder and an outside deck with stairs. One end of the loft has a service door and the other end has a sliding window. Along each side of the loft are (4) sliding windows. On each end of the loft, up near the peak, is a gable vent. The stalls are lined with 4’ high oak kick boards and have a sliding stall door into the center aisle and swinging double shutters. The tack room has a service door into the center aisle. One open storage area has double sliding doors to the outside and is open to the center aisle. The other open storage area has swinging double shutters and is partially open to the center aisle. The center aisle has double sliding doors with windows at each end.
