Shed Row Barn – Cape May, NJ


Project Description:

This is a 12’x20′ shed row horse barn with an 8′ lean-to. This Cape May Court House, NJ shed row horse barn with lean-to was built with white pine board and batten siding painted with white paint manufactured by Haley Paint Company. The corner trim and window trim and door trim and crossbucks are painted black. It has 3 pitch rafters and an architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Fox Hollow Gray color) shingles. The window is a sliding wood barn sash window manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 4’x7′ dutch doors with window and 48″x80″ dutch doors and service door with window is manufactured by J&N Structures. On the roof is a B-27 Series cupola with a horse weathervane manufactured by Creative Cupolas.

Benefits:

This shed row horse barn has (2) 12’x10′ stalls and an 8’x6′ tack room and an 8’x14′ open lean-to. Part of the lean-to is enclosed to form the tack room. The stalls are lined with 4′ high oak kick boards and have a dutch door with a window in the front and a dutch door in the rear. The tack room has a floor and a service door with a window in the side underneath the lean-to and a sliding window in the front. The lean-to offers shelter from the hot sun or rain and snow.
