Shed Row Barn – Duxbury, MA


Project Description:

This is a 10’x40′ shed row horse barn. This Duxbury, MA shed row horse barn was built with white pine board and batten siding. It has quaker style rafters and architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Hickory color) shingles. The windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 3’x7′ reversed dutch doors and 4’x7′ dutch door and 3’x3′ dutch door top sections with window and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures.

Benefits:

This shed row horse barn has (3) 10’x8′ stalls and a 10’x16′ tack room. The stalls are lined with 3′ high oak kick boards and have a reversed dutch door in the front and a dutch door top section with window in the rear. The dutch doors are reversed for miniature horses. One stall has an extra dutch door top section with window in the side. The tack room has floor and a dutch door and a sliding window in the front and a sliding window in the rear and a sliding window in the side. On each end of the barn, up near the peak, are gable vents.
