Project Description:

This is a 10’x44′ shed row horse barn with 10′ lean-to. This Markham, VA shed row horse barn with lean-to was built with white pine board and batten siding painted with gray paint manufactured by Haley Paint Company. The corner trim and window trim and door trim and crossbucks are painted black. It has 3 pitch rafters and insulated 28 gauge metal roof (Black color) manufactured by A.B. Martin Roofing Supply. The windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 4’x7′ dutch doors with window and 48″x80″ dutch doors with window and service doors are manufactured by J&N Structures.

Benefits:

This shed row barn has (3) 10’x12′ stalls and a 10’x8′ feed room and a 10’x8′ tack room and a 10’x36′ open lean-to. Part of the lean-to is enclosed to form the tack room. The stalls are lined with 4′ high oak kick boards and have a dutch door with a window in the front and a dutch door with a window in the rear. The feed room has a floor and a service door in the front and a sliding window in the rear. The tack room has a floor and a service door out the side underneath the lean-to and a sliding window in the front. The lean-to offers shelter from the hot sun or rain and snow.
