Shed Row Barn – Poughqaug, NY


Project Description:

This is a 10’x36′ shed row horse barn with a 12′ lean-to. This Poughquag, NY shed row horse barn with lean-to was built with white pine board and batten siding. It has 3 pitch rafters and an architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HD (Charcoal color) shingles. The windows are insulated Silverline Series double-hung windows manufactured Ply Gem and provided by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The insulated service door with the window was manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 4’x7′ dutch doors and 48″x80″ dutch doors with window and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures.

Benefits:

This shed row barn has (2) 10’x12′ stalls and a 12’x22′ tack room and a 12’x24′ open lean-to. Part of the lean-to is enclosed to form the tack room. The stalls are lined with 4′ high oak kick boards and have a dutch door in the front and a dutch door with a window in the rear. The tack room has a floor and an insulated service door with a window in the side underneath the lean-to and an insulated double-hung window in the front and an insulated double-hung window in the rear.
