Shed Row Barn with 8 Lean-To – Elkton, MD


Project Description:

This is a 12’x52′ shed row horse barn with 8′ lean-to. This Elkton, MD horse barn with lean-to was built with white pine board and batten siding. It has 3 pitch rafters and architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Weathered Wood color) shingles. The windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 4’x7′ dutch doors and 48″x80″ dutch doors with window and service door and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures.

Benefits:
This shed row horse barn has (3) 12’x12′ stalls and a 12’x8′ tack room and a 12’x8′ open storage area and a 8’x52′ lean-to. The stalls are lined with 4′ high oak kick boards and have a dutch door in the front and a dutch door with window in the rear. The tack room has floor and a service door in the front and a sliding window in the rear and a sliding window in the side. The open storage area is open in the front and has a sliding window in the rear and a sliding window in the side. On each end of the barn, up near the peak, are gable vents. The lean-to offers shelter from the hot sun or rain and snow.
