Monitor Barn – Woodstock, NY


Project Description:

This is a 36’x46′ modular barn with 8′ lean-to in the monitor style. This Woodstock, NY monitor barn was built with white pine board and batten siding painted by the customer. It has rafters and the white standing seam metal roof was installed by the customer. The windows are sliding wood barn sash windows by Bird-In-Hand Windows. The double 6’x10′ sliding doors with windows, 4’x7′ dutch doors, and double 36″x72″ swinging loft doors are made by J&N Structures.

Benefits:

This monitor barn has (3) 12’x15′-4″ stalls, a 12’x16′ stall, a 12’x10′ tack room, a 12’x10′ wash stall, and a 12’x10′ open storage area. It also has a loft over the center aisle accessed by stairs. The loft has double swinging doors at each end. Each stall has a sliding stall door and a dutch door with window to the outside. The tack room has a service door and a dutch door with window. The wash stall features white glass board on the walls. The open storage area has a dutch door with window. Extra windows are installed on either side of the roll doors. The roof was built to handle the snow load of the location and has Henry Eaveguard (Ice & Water Shield) underneath the metal roof. The foundation is a concrete pad installed by the customer.
