12×40 Shed Row Barn with 10 Lean-To – Felton, DE

Project Description:

This is a 12’x40′ shed row horse barn with 10′ lean-to. This Felton, DE horse barn with lean-to was built with white pine board and batten siding painted with white paint manufactured by Haley Paint Company. The corner trim and window trim and door trim and crossbucks are painted dark gray. It has 3 pitch rafters and architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Weathered Wood color) shingles. The windows are Insulated Thermal transom windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 4’x7′ dutch doors and 4’x3′ dutch door tops and service door are manufactured by J&N Structures. On the roof is a B-32 Boston Series cupola manufactured by Creative Cupolas.

Benefits:
This shed row horse barn has (2) 12’x12′ stalls and a 10’x16′ tack room and a 12’x16 storage room and a 10’x24′ open lean-to. Part of the lean-to is enclosed to form the tack room. The stalls are lined with 4′ high oak kick boards and have a dutch door in the front and a dutch door top in the rear. The tack room has a service door in the side underneath the lean-to and transom windows in the front. The lean-to offers shelter from the hot sun or rain and snow.
