Lean-To Barn – Pawlet, VT


Project Description:

This is a 36’x24′ modular barn with 8′ lean-to in the high country style. This Pawlet, VT high country barn was built with white pine board and batten siding painted with white paint by Haley Paint Company. The window trim and door crossbucks and trim are painted black. It has 8 pitch rafters and charcoal metal roof. The small windows are sliding wood barn sash windows and the large loft window is a Andersen Silverline double-hung window with all windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows. The insulated service door is also manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows. The 6’x9′ roll doors and 6’x9′ roll doors with windows are built by J&N Structures. The wood loft doors with windows are also built by J&N Structures.

Benefits:

This modular barn has (2) 12’x12′ stalls and a 12’x12′ tack room and a 12’x12′ open area. It has a full loft accessed via stairs. The loft has a window on one end and double sliding loft doors with windows on the other end. The stalls have a sliding 4’x7′ stall door with yoke and a 4’x7′ dutch door with window. The tack room has floor and a wood service door and a window. The open area has kickboard and an insulated service door and a window. The stalls also have chew guards.
