12×36 Shed Row Barn with 10 Lean-To – Barkhamsted, CT

Project Description:

This is a 12’x36′ shed row horse barn with 10′ lean-to. This Barkhamsted, CT horse barn with lean-to was built with white pine board and batten siding painted with clay paint manufactured by Haley Paint Company. It has 3 pitch rafters and architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Hickory color) shingles. The windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 4’x7′ dutch doors and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures.

Benefits:
This shed row horse barn has (3) 12’x12′ stalls and a 10’x36′ lean-to. The stalls are lined with 4′ high oak kick boards and have a dutch doors in the front and rear and a sliding window at each side. On each end of the barn, up near the peak, are gable vents. The lean-to offers shelter from the hot sun or rain and snow.
