Project Description:

This is a 12’x60′ shed row horse barn with 12′ lean-to. This Friendship, MD horse barn with lean-to was built with duratemp t1-11 siding painted with blue paint maufactured by Haley Paint Company. It has 3 pitch rafters and architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Fox Hollow Gray color) shingles. The insulated service doors are manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 4’x7′ dutch doors and 5’x7′ sliding doors and drop vents and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures. On the roof is a B-27 Series cupola manufactured by Creative Cupolas.

Benefits:
This shed row horse barn has (3) 12’x12′ stalls and a 12’x12′ tack room and a 12’x24′ hay room and a 12’x48 open lean-to. Part of the lean-to is enclosed to form the hay room. The stalls are lined with 4′ high oak kick boards and have a dutch door and mesh door in the front and a sliding window in the rear and a drop vent in the side. The tack room has floor and a insulated service door in the front and a sliding window in the rear. The hay room has floor and a insulated service door in the side underneath the lean-to and a sliding window in the front and rear and double sliding doors on the side.On each end of the barn, up near the peak, are gable vents. The lean-to offers shelter from the hot sun or rain and snow.
