Trailside Double Wide – Belchertown, MA


Project Description:

This is a 20’x44’ double-wide modular horse barn in the trailside style. This Belchertown, MA horse barn was built with white pine board & batten siding stained with caramel stain manufactured by Haley Paint Company. The corner trim and window trim and door trim and crossbucks are painted black. The roof has 4 pitch rafters and architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Charcoal color) shingles. The windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 8’x7’ roll doors and 4’x7’ dutch doors with window and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures. On the roof is a B-24 Boston Series cupola with horse weather vane manufactured by Creative Cupolas.

Benefits:

This double-wide modular horse barn has (3) 10’x12’ stalls and a 10’x8’ open storage area and a 10’x44’ aisle. The stalls are lined with 4’ high oak kick boards and have a sliding stall door into the center aisle and a dutch door with window to the outside. The open storage area has floor and a sliding window and is open to the aisle. The aisle has a sliding door at each end and (4) sliding windows along the side. On each end of the barn, up near the peak, are gable vents.
