34×24 Monitor – Charlottesville, VA

Project Description:

This is a 34’x24’ modular horse barn in the monitor style. This Charlottesville, VA monitor horse barn was built with LP SmartSide board & batten siding painted with custom paint. The corner trim and window trim and door trim and crossbucks are painted with custom paint. The roof has 3 pitch and 6 pitch rafters and architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Charcoal color) shingles. The larger windows are insulated double-hung Silverline Series windows manufactured by Ply Gem and provided by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The smaller windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 6’x8’ roll doors and 4’x7’ dutch doors and service door and loft door are manufactured by J&N Structures. On the roof is a B-27 Boston Series cupola with hawk weather vane manufactured by Creative Cupolas.

Benefits:
This modular horse barn has (3) 12’x12’ stalls and a 12’x12’ tack room and a 9’-5″x24’ center aisle. It has a loft over the center aisle accessed via stairs. One end of the loft has a swinging loft door and the other end has a sliding window. Along each side are (2) sliding windows. The stalls are lined with 4’ high oak kick boards and have a sliding stall door into the center aisle and a dutch door to the outside. The tack room has floor and a sliding window and a service door into the center aisle. The center aisle has double sliding doors at each end. In the front, are extra double-hung windows on either side of the sliding doors.
