Kennebec with 8 Lean-To – Rochelle, VA

Project Description:

This is a 36’x24’ modular horse barn in the kennebec style with 8’ lean-to. This Rochelle, VA horse barn was built with white pine board & batten siding. The roof has 8 pitch rafters and architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Pewter Gray color) shingles. The windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 6’x9’ roll doors and 6’x9′ roll doors with windows and 4’x7′ roll door and 4’x7’ dutch doors and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures.

Benefits:

This modular horse barn has (3) 12’x12’ stalls and a 12’x12’ open storage area and a 12’x24’ center aisle. The stalls are lined with 4’ high oak kick boards and have a sliding stall door into the center aisle. (2) stalls have a dutch door to the outside. One stall has a sliding window in the rear. The open storage area has floor and a sliding door in the rear and is open to the center aisle. The center aisle has double sliding doors with windows in the front and double sliding doors in the rear. In the front, are extra sliding windows on either side of the sliding doors. On each end, up near the peak, is a gable vent.
