36 x 60 Modular Barn – Bowling Green, KY

Project Description:

This is a 36’x60’ modular barn in the High Country style with (2) 12’ lean-tos. This Kentucky High Country barn was built with 3-ply 2’x6’ posts, LVL headers, and 2×4 oak framing. The siding is Cypress Board and Batten Siding stained by the customer. The roof has 3 pitch rafters on the lean-tos and 10 pitch rafters on the main barn. It has an architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Charcoal color) shingles. The windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The (4) 6’x10’ center aisle roll doors and the 36”x80” loft doors are manufactured by Superior Structures. The (2) 28” and the (1) 36” Boston Series Cupolas are handcrafted by Creative Cupolas.

Benefits:

This modular barn has (8) 12’x10’ stalls lined with 4’ high oak kickboard. The stall fronts are Grade #1 Southern Yellow Pine 2×8 T&G with powder-coated sliding doors and powder-coated stall front grills. It also has a 12’x10’ wash stall open to the center aisle. There is also a 12’x10’ tack room that has been enhanced by the customer to better accommodate their needs. There is a 3’ wide L-shaped stairway to a full loft upgraded with ¾” plywood.
