36×104 High Country with 10 Lean-To – Middleburg, VA

Project Description:

This is a 36’x104’ modular horse barn in the high country style with 10’ lean-to. This Middleburg VA high country horse barn was built with white pine board & batten siding. The roof has 8 pitch rafters and architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Charcoal color) shingles. The windows are insulated double-hung Silverline Series windows manufactured by Ply Gem and provided by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The double insulated service doors with windows and insulated service doors were manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 6’x9’ roll doors with windows and 4’x3’ dutch door top with window and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures. On the roof is a B-60 and (2) B-48 Boston Series cupolas manufactured by Creative Cupolas.

Benefits:
This modular horse barn has (12) 12’x12’ stalls and a 12’x20’ tack room and a 12’x12’ wash stall and a 12’x32’ lounge and a 12’x104’ center aisle. It has a full loft accessed via stairs in the lounge. Each end of the loft has triple double-hung windows and on the one side are (4) 8′ wide a-frame dormers. On each end, up near the peak, is a gable vent. The stalls are lined with 4’ high oak kick boards and have a sliding stall door into the center aisle and a dutch door top with window to the outside. The tack room has floor and (2) double-hung windows and a insulated service door into the center aisle. The wash stall has white glass boards on the walls and is open to the center aisle. The lounge has a (2) double-hung windows and double insulated service doors with windows to the outside and insulated service to the center aisle. The center aisle has double sliding doors with windows at each end. On the lean-to side is a 36′ a-frame grand front entrance dormer.
