Project Description:

This is a 36’x24’ modular horse barn in the high country style with a 8’ lean-to. This Pottstown, PA high country horse barn was built with lp smartside board & batten siding painted with white paint manufactured by Haley Paint Company. The corner trim and window trim and door trim and crossbucks are painted wedgewood blue. The roof has 8 pitch and an insulated 28 gauge metal roof (Ocean Blue color) manufactured by Waglers Steel. The small window is a sliding wood barn sash window manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The large windows are insulated double-hung Silverline Series windows manufactured by Ply Gem and provided by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 6’x9’ roll doors with windows and 4’x7’ dutch doors with window and service door and sliding loft door with window and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures.

Benefits:

This modular horse barn has (2) 12’x12’ stalls and a 12’x8’ tack room and a 12’x8’ wash stall and a 12’x8’ feed room and a 12’x24’ center aisle. It has a full loft accessed via stairs in the feed room. One end of the loft has a sliding loft door and the other end has a sliding window and the one side has a 12′ a-frame dormer and over the center aisle is a hay hole with a hinged cover. On each end, up near the peak, is a gable vent. The stalls are lined with 4’ high oak kick boards and have a sliding stall door into the center aisle and a dutch door to the outside. The tack room has floor and a double-hung window and a service door into the center aisle. The wash stall has white glass boards on the walls and is open to the center aisle. The feed room has floor and a double-hung window and a service door into the center aisle. The center aisle has double sliding doors with windows at each end.
