36×42 Monitor-Caribou-ME

Project Description:

This 36’ x 42’ barn was erected in Caribou, Maine in the Monitor style. The white pine board and batten siding was stained with Haley’s Ultra Log stain in the Butternut color. The 29 -gauge black metal roof was manufactured by Solid Ridge Metal. A cupola tops this barn off, manufactured by Creative Cupolas. The wood sash windows were manufactured by Bird and Hand Windows. All the wooden doors were crafted by Appalachian Woodcrafts. The concrete slab foundation was provided by the customer.

Benefits:

This barn has (3) 12’ x 14’ stalls on the right side, featuring dutch doors with glass & sliding stall doors. The left side has (1) 12’ x 18’ tack room for storage, a 10’ x 12’ open wash area, and a 12’ x 14’ stall with a sliding stall door. At the rear of the barn, there are pressure treated stairs leading to a 4’ x 12’ deck outside the upstairs loft area. See the floor plan for additional details.
