36×48 Monitor with (2) 10 Lean-To – Waverly, VA

Project Description:

This is a 36’x48’ modular horse barn in the monitor style with (2) 10’ lean-tos. This Waverly, VA monitor horse barn was built with white pine board & batten siding painted with red paint manufactured by Haley Paint Company. The corner trim and window trim and door trim and crossbucks are painted white. The roof has 3 pitch and 6 pitch rafters and architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Charcoal color) shingles. The insulated french door was manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 6’x9’ roll doors with windows and 6’x4′ swinging doors and 4’x7’ dutch doors with window and service door and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures. On the roof is a B-37 Boston Series cupola manufactured by Creative Cupolas.

Benefits:

This modular horse barn has (2) 12’x24′ pens and (2) 12’x12’ stalls and a 12’x12’ tack room and a 12’x12’ feed room and a 11’-5″x48’ center aisle. It has a loft over the center aisle accessed via outside stairs and a ladder. One end of the loft has a double swinging french door and the other end has a sliding window. Along each side are (4) sliding windows. On each end, up near the peak, is a gable vent. The pens are lined with 4’ high oak kick boards and have a swinging door to the center aisle and a dutch door with window to the outside. The stalls are lined with 4’ high oak kick boards and have a sliding stall door into the center aisle and a dutch door with window to the outside. The tack room has floor and a service door and a service door into the center aisle. The feed room has floor and a service door and a service door into the center aisle. The center aisle has double sliding doors with windows at each end. In the front and rear, are extra sliding windows on either side of the sliding doors.
