38x60x10 High Country with 4 Lean-T – Aldie, VA Project

Project Description:

This is a 38’x60’x10′ modular horse barn in the high country style with 4’ lean-to. This Aldie, VA high country horse barn was built with white pine board & batten siding painted with custom paint. The corner trim and window trim and door trim and crossbucks are painted with custom paint. The roof has 8 pitch and an insulated 28 gauge metal roof (Black color) manufactured by A.B. Martin. The windows are insulated double-hung Silverline Series windows manufactured by Ply Gem and provided by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 7’x10’ roll doors and 6’x8′ roll doors with windows and 4’x7’ dutch doors with windows and service door and sliding loft doors with windows and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures. On the roof is a B-96 Boston Series cupola with glass manufactured by Creative Cupolas.

Benefits:

This modular horse barn has (6) 12’x12’ stalls and a 12’x12’ tack room and a 12’x12′ office and a 12’x12’ wash stall and a 12’x12’ breezeway and a 14’x60’ center aisle. It has a full loft accessed via stairs in the tack room. One end of the loft has double sliding doors with windows and the other end has a double-hung window and the one side has (2) 6′ a-frame dormers and a 14′ a-frame dormer. On each end, up near the peak, is a gable vent. The stalls are lined with 4’ high oak kick boards and have a sliding stall door into the center aisle and a dutch door with window to the outside. The tack room has floor and a window and a service door into the center aisle. The office has floor and a window and a service door into the center aisle. The wash stall has white glass boards on the walls and is open to the center aisle. The breezeway has double sliding doors to the outside and is open to the center aisle. The center aisle has double sliding doors. In the front and rear, are extra sliding windows on either side of the sliding doors.
