Project Description:

This 30’ x 24’ barn was erected in Durham, Maine in the High Country style. The          8-pitch roof is shingled with BP shingles (2-Tone Black color). The white pine board and batten siding is painted with Haley’s White with Black trim colored paint. The sliding aisle doors, Dutch doors & service doors are stained with Haley’s Butternut UL Stain. Custom L-shaped stairs were made by Lezzer Lumber. The wood sash windows are produced by Bird in Hand Windows. The B-32 cupola was built by Creative Cupolas. Dutch doors were manufactured by Rustic Door & Pine Products and the center aisle doors and service doors were crafted by Appalachian Woodcrafts.

Benefits:

This High Country barn has (2) 10×12 stalls & a 10×14 goat stall that are accessible by Dutch doors on the exterior and sliding stall doors in the interior. The barn has a 10×10 tack room which houses the custom L-shaped stairs, leading to the loft area. There is a 3’x4 hinged hay hole in the center aisle outside of the tack room. An 8’ lean-to overhang provides added protection outside of the goat stall and tack room areas. Please see the attached floor plan for more details.
