High Country with 10 Lean-To – North Garden, VA

Project Description:

This is a 36’x36’x10′ modular horse barn in the high country style with 10’ lean-to. This North Garden, VA high country horse barn was built with LP SmartSide board & batten siding painted with custom paint. The roof has 8 pitch and an insulated 28 gauge metal roof (Black color) manufactured by A.B. Martin. The windows are insulated double-hung Silverline Series windows manufactured by Ply Gem and provided by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 6’x10’ roll doors with windows and 4’x7’ dutch doors with window and service door with window and sliding loft door with window and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures. On the roof is a B-37 Boston Series cupola with horse weather vane manufactured by Creative Cupolas.

Benefits:

This modular horse barn has (2) 12’x12’ stalls and a 12’x12’ aisle and a 12’x36’ open area and a 12’x36’ center aisle. It has a full loft accessed via stairs in the open area. One end of the loft has a sliding loft door and the other end has a triple window and one side has a 8′ dormer with double-hung window and the other side has (2) 6′ dormers with double-hung windows. On each end, up near the peak, is a gable vent. The stalls are lined with 4’ high oak kick boards and have a sliding stall door into the center aisle and a dutch door with window to the outside. The 12’x12′ aisle has double sliding doors with window to the side and is open to the center aisle. The open area has a double-hung window and a dutch door with window and a roll door. The center aisle has double sliding doors with windows at each end. In the front and rear, are extra sliding windows on either side of the sliding doors.
