High Country with (2) 10 Lean-To – Boxford, MA


Project Description:

This is a 36’x40’ modular horse barn in the high country style with (2) 10’ lean-tos. This Boxford, MA high country horse barn was built with white pine board & batten siding stained with smoke stain manufactured by Haley Paint Company. The corner trim and window trim and door trim and crossbucks are painted white. The roof has 8 pitch rafters and architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Pewter Gray color) shingles. The smaller windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The larger windows are insulated double-hung Silverline Series windows manufactured by Ply Gem and provided by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The insulated service door was manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 6’x9’ roll doors and 4’x7’ dutch doors with windows are manufactured by J&N Structures.

Benefits:
This modular horse barn has (3) 12’x10’ stalls and a 12’x20’ tack room and a 12’x6’ laundry room and a 12’x10’ and 12’x14′ open storage areas and a 12’x40’ center aisle. It has a full loft accessed via stairs in the tack room. One end of the loft has a half round window and the other end has a sliding window. The stalls are lined with 4’ high oak kick boards and have a sliding stall door into the center aisle and a dutch door with window to the outside. The tack room has floor and a double-hung windows and a insulated service door into the center aisle. The laundry room has double-hung windows and a insulated service door into the center aisle. The 12’x10’open storage area has a sliding window and is open to the center aisle. The 12’x14’open storage area has a dutch door with window and is open to the center aisle.The center aisle has double sliding doors at each end.
