L-Shaped Barn with 10 Lean-To – Bethel, CT


Project Description:

This is a L-Shaped shed row horse barn with a 10′ lean-to. This Bethel, CT horse barn with lean-to was built with white pine board and batten siding. It has 3 pitch rafters and architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Pewter Gray color) shingles. The windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 4’x7′ dutch doors with windows and 4’x7′ dutch doors and sliding doors and service doors and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures. On the roof are (2) B-32 Boston Series cupola with horse weather vane manufactured by Creative Cupolas.

Benefits:
This shed row horse barn has (4) 12’x12′ stalls and a 12’x12′ feed room and a 12’x12′ hay room and a 12’x12′ breeze way and a 10’x26′ lean-to & 10’x36′ lean-to. The stalls are lined with 4′ high oak kick boards and have a dutch door in the front and (3) of the stalls have a dutch door with window in the rear, & (1) stall has a sliding window in the rear and a dutch door with window out the side. The feed room has floor and a service door in the front and a sliding window in the rear and a sliding window in the side. The hay room has floor and a service door in the front and a sliding window in the rear and double-sliding doors in the side. The breezeway has double-sliding doors in the rear and is open to the front. On each end of the barn, up near the peak, are gable vents. The lean-to offers shelter from the hot sun or rain and snow.
