L-Shaped Barn with 8 Lean-To – Dickerson, MD


Project Description:

This is an L-shaped shed row horse barn with 8′ lean-to. This Dickerson, MD horse barn with lean-to was built with white pine board and batten siding painted with white paint manufactured by Haley Paint Company. The corner trim and window trim and door trim and crossbucks are painted black. It has 3 pitch rafters and an insulated 28 gauge metal roof (Charcoal color) manufactured by A.B. Martin. The windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 4’x7′ dutch doors and 96″x80″ sliding door and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures.

Benefits:

This L-shaped shed row horse barn has (2) 12’x14′ stalls and a 12’x24′ stall and a 8’x32′ lean-to. The stalls are lined with 4′ high oak kick boards and have a dutch door in the front. One stall has a sliding window in the rear. Another stall has a sliding window in the rear and a sliding window in the side. The third stall has a sliding door and (2) sliding windows in the rear. On each end of the barn, up near the peak, are gable vents. The lean-to offers shelter from the hot sun or rain and snow.
