Modular Barn – Guilford, VT

Project Description:

This is a 32’x30′ modular barn in the monitor style with a 10′ lean-to. This Guilford, VT monitor barn was built with white pine board and batten siding stained with caramel stain manufactured by Haley Paint Company. It has rafters and an insulated 28 gauge metal roof (Evergreen color) manufactured by A.B. Martin Roofing Supply. The larger windows are insulated double-hung Silverline Series windows and the smaller windows are insulated single-hung Silverline Series sliding windows manufactured by Ply Gem and provided by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The insulated service door with window is manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 6’x9′ roll doors with windows and swinging double 4’x9′ doors with transom window and 4’x7′ dutch doors with window and double service doors with window and double sliding loft doors with window are manufactured by J&N Structures. On the roof is a B-37 Series cupola manufactured by Creative Cupolas.

Benefits:

This modular barn has (3) 10’x10′ stalls and a 10’x12′ tack room and a 10’x18′ storage room and a 12’x30′ center aisle. It has a loft over the center aisle accessed via a deck and stairs on one end of the barn. The end of the loft with the deck has double service doors with windows and the other end has (2) insulated double-hung windows covered by double sliding loft doors with windows. Along each side of the loft are (3) insulated single-hung sliding windows. The stalls are lined with 4′ high oak kick boards and have a sliding 4’x7′ stall door into the center aisle and a dutch door with a window to the outside. The tack room has an insulated floor and an insulated double-hung window and an insulated service door with a window into the center aisle. The storage room has an insulated floor and (2) insulated double-hung windows and a service door into the center aisle and double swinging doors with a transom window out the end of the barn. The aisle has double sliding doors with windows at each end.
