Modular Barn – Ronks, PA


Project Description:

This is a 36’x84’ modular horse barn with gambrel style roof. This Ronks, PA gambrel style horse barn was built with LP SmartSide board & batten siding painted with red paint manufactured by Haley Paint Company. The corner trim and window trim and door trim and crossbucks are painted white. The roof has gambrel style rafters and architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Pewter Gray color) shingles. The windows are non-insulated single-hung windows and insulated double-hung Silverline Series windows manufactured by Ply Gem and provided by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The non-insulated 18’x8′ SRP overhead garage door was manufactured by General Door Corporation and installed by Monterey Door Shop. The insulated service door was manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 6’x9’ roll doors with windows and double loft doors are manufactured by J&N Structures. The foundation is a concrete pad installed by the customer.

Benefits:

This modular horse barn has (4) 12’x12’ stalls and (6) 12’x10’ stalls and a 12’x12’ tack room and a 12’x60’ center aisle and a 24’x36′ garage area. It has a partial loft accessed via stairs in the tack room. Part of the loft is open to the stalls below and is lined with railing. One end of the loft has swinging double loft doors and the other end has (2) insulated double-hung windows. In the front end of the roof is an extended peak. The stalls are lined with 4’ high oak kick boards and have a sliding stall door into the center aisle and a single-hung window. The tack room has a single-hung window and an insulated service door into the center aisle. The garage area has an overhead garage door and (3) single-hung windows. The center aisle has double sliding doors with windows at one end. On either side of the sliding doors are extra single-hung windows.
