Modular Barn – West Kill, NY


Project Description:

This is a 36’x36’ modular horse barn in the monitor style with 8’ lean-to. This West Kill, NY monitor horse barn was built with white pine board & batten siding painted with red paint manufactured by Haley Paint Company. The corner trim and window trim and door trim and crossbucks are painted white. The roof has 3 pitch and 6 pitch rafters and an insulated 28 gauge metal roof (Black color) manufactured by A.B. Martin. The windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 5’x10’ roll doors with windows and 4’x7’ dutch doors and loft door are manufactured by J&N Structures. On the roof is a B-37 Boston Series cupola manufactured by Creative Cupolas.

Benefits:

This modular horse barn has (3) 10’x12’ stalls and a 10’x36’ open area and a 9’-5″x36’ center aisle. It has a loft over the center aisle accessed via stairs. One end of the loft has a sliding loft door and the other end has a sliding window. Along each side are (3) sliding windows. The stalls are lined with 4’ high oak kick boards and have a sliding stall door into the center aisle and a dutch door to the outside. The open area has (3) sliding windows and is open to the center aisle. The center aisle has double sliding doors with windows at each end. In each gable end, are extra sliding windows on either side of the sliding doors.
