Shed Row Barn with 10 Lean-To – Street, MD


Project Description:

This is a 12’x48′ shed row horse barn with 10′ lean-to. This Street, MD horse barn with lean-to was built with LP SmartSide board and batten siding painted with white paint manufactured by Haley Paint Company. The corner trim and window trim and door trim and crossbucks are painted gray. It has 3 pitch rafters and an insulated 28 gauge metal roof (Charcoal color) manufactured by A.B. Martin. The large window is a insulated double-hung Silverline Series window with screen manufactured by Ply Gem and provided by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The smaller window is a sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 4’x7′ dutch doors and service door and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures.

Benefits:
This shed row horse barn has a 12’x12′ stall and a 12’x16′ tack room and a 12’x20′ run-in area and a 10’x48′ lean-to. The stall is lined with 4′ high oak kick boards and has a dutch door in the front and the side and a sliding window in the rear. The tack room has floor and a service door in the front and a double-hung window in the side. On each end of the barn, up near the peak, are gable vents. The lean-to offers shelter from the hot sun or rain and snow.
