Shed Row Barn with 10 Lean-To – Woodstock, CT


Project Description:

This is a 12’x30′ shed row horse barn with 10′ lean-to. This Woodstock, CT horse barn with lean-to was built with white pine board and batten siding painted with red paint manufactured by Haley Paint Company. The corner trim and window trim and door trim and crossbucks are painted black. It has 3 pitch rafters and an insulated 28 gauge metal roof (Pewter color) manufactured by A.B. Martin. The window is a sliding wood barn sash window manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 4’x7′ dutch doors and service door and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures.

Benefits:
This shed row horse barn has (3) 12’x10′ stalls and a 10’x5′-6″ tack room and a 10’x24′-6″ open lean-to. Part of the lean-to is enclosed to form the tack room. The stalls are lined with 4′ high oak kick boards and have a dutch door in the front and rear. The tack room has floor and a service door in the side underneath the lean-to and a sliding window in the side. On each end of the barn, up near the peak, are gable vents. The lean-to offers shelter from the hot sun or rain and snow.
